Fall Fun

6 Months Already!

This weekend Rob the kids and I headed out to Knox Pumpkin Patch for Coltons half year birthday! It was WONDEFUL! It cost us a whole $5 to get in, which allowed us to go through the corn mase, see/pet all the farm animals, go on a hay wagon ride, watch cider being made, browse the cute little fall store, and have an enjoyable day! The weather was amazing! We stopped to take a few nice pics of the family. It seems I'm always the one behind the camera, so Rob took a few of me and the babe. He's such an amazing little guy! He smiles and flirts with everyone he encounters! I think he's going to be a ladies man when he grows up!
The past year has flown by... I cant believe he is already 6 months! I couldnt have asked for a better baby. I have to be the luckiest mommy alive!

Dream Come True

I am bursting with excitement!

I have been talking for a long time about wanting to get into tattooing. For those of you who know me, you know I am not the traditional tattoo-er, however, I feel I would excel at it!

My idea behind starting a business with tattooing was to gear it towards women. Make it a safe, comfortable environment for women who weren't the "standard" type of person to get tattooed would feel secure.

I LOVE body art. I myself only have a few small pieces, but I love the concept of it! How wonderful to have a gorgeous piece of artwork on your body, something that has meaning to you, something you can treasure, something individual. Given the right piece and right artist, I believe that the entire experience can be wonderful.

Well... Rob went out and bought me a tattoo machine. He thinks I have spent enough time thinking about it and should start DOING. I am SO excited!!

Last night I sat down for about half an hour to "play" with the machine, and I must say, I surprised myself! Tomorrow my plan is to try a cherry blossom on my "fake skin". IF it works out I will post images!

I have a great feeling about this...

YIPPEE FOR SOCIALIZATION!

Today I met some of the ladies from the "mom and baby" group. It was SO nice to be around other moms. I feel like I dont really have anyone to socialize with here, no one who understand what I'm going through anyways.
If I was back home (up north) I would know some people, but its different here...
I cant wait for our next meeting, hopefully our little babies (and us) will make life long friends
